the hotel is a sad excuse for a place. The pool was closed, and I expected at least someone to say, "sorry for the inconvenience," but no. also, the staff couldn't be less friendly while handing out damaged luggage like it was normal. I would have expected a basic welcome drink too, but I guess that's too much to ask.

Breakfast was decent and even included special omelettes one morning. The location was super convenient, just a short walk to the airport. My room was clean and had a nice balcony. They even sent breakfast to my room when I overslept!

The cream cakes from nearby Das Jedermann are a must-try. they are delightful and melt in your mouth! Plus, the hotel's spacious rooms offer lovely balconies with mountain views—perfect for unwinding after a busy day.
I arrived at 21:30 in the evening after trudging around in the rain and found the hotel deserted. Waiting 20 minutes at the reception felt like forever! And don't get me started on the pricey water. €3.50 for a small bottle felt a bit steep!

it's literally just a 5-minute walk to the airport and I loved how I could catch a local bus that took me to the center of Salzburg in just 15 minutes, making it super convenient for my city strolls in between exploring the sights.
